Content Monitoring Policy – Clinkt.me
Last updated: February 10, 2026
This Content Monitoring Policy (the "Policy") describes how Clinkt.me ("Clinkt.me", "we", "us") monitors, detects, reviews, and enforces rules related to content uploaded, stored, sold, or shared by users (the "Content") on the Clinkt.me platform (the "Service").
This Policy forms part of, and must be read together with, the Terms of Use. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Use.
1. Purpose and Scope
The purpose of this Policy is to:
- help prevent and address unlawful, prohibited, or harmful Content on the Service,
- meet reasonable expectations of payment processors and financial partners regarding platform integrity and risk controls,
- protect users, third parties, and Clinkt.me from abuse, fraud, and regulatory exposure.
This Policy applies to all Creators, Clients, and any use of the Service.
2. Our Role and Important Limitations
Clinkt.me operates as a technical hosting and file distribution platform and is not the publisher of Creator Content.
We implement monitoring and moderation measures, but:
- we do not guarantee that all Content will be reviewed,
- we do not guarantee that prohibited Content will never appear on the Service,
- our actions under this Policy are performed to reduce risk and enforce our rules, not to assume full legal responsibility for Creator Content.
Creators remain solely responsible for the Content they upload and distribute, including its legality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable law.
3. Prohibited Content (Non-Exhaustive)
Content is prohibited if it is unlawful, violates the Terms of Use, or poses a material safety, fraud, or compliance risk. This includes, without limitation:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content involving minors in a sexual context
- Any content involving minors where prohibited by law or the Terms, including sexualized, exploitative, or harmful depictions
- Human trafficking, sexual exploitation, forced labor, coercion, or abuse
- Non-consensual sexual content, intimate images shared without consent, blackmail, sextortion
- Terrorism, violent extremism, or incitement to violence
- Hate or discriminatory content that promotes harm or violence
- Fraud, scams, deception, phishing, or impersonation
- Stolen, pirated, or infringing content (copyright, trademarks, trade secrets)
- Confidential / protected information (e.g., leaked data, private credentials, classified info)
- Illegal goods/services, instructions facilitating serious wrongdoing, or other unlawful activity
- Sensitive personal data (as defined under applicable privacy laws) where inappropriate or unlawfully processed
Clinkt.me may treat "high-risk" borderline content as prohibited where necessary to protect the platform, users, and payment partners.
4. Monitoring and Detection Measures
Clinkt.me uses a combination of measures to monitor and enforce this Policy, which may include:
4.1 User Reports (Notice & Action)
We provide a reporting channel allowing users and third parties to flag Content that may be illegal or prohibited. Reports are a primary mechanism for review and action.
4.2 Human Review
Where appropriate, we conduct manual review of Content, metadata, account activity, listings, previews, and supporting information.
4.3 Automated Signals and Risk Controls
We may use automated detection signals and risk scoring to identify potentially prohibited or high-risk activity, including:
- hash/fingerprint matching and other detection methods (where available),
- scanning of filenames, descriptions, tags, thumbnails/previews, or other metadata,
- anomaly detection (e.g., unusual traffic, repetitive uploads, suspicious payment patterns),
- account behavior signals (e.g., repeated reports, chargebacks, fraud indicators).
4.4 Third-Party Service Providers
To enforce this Policy and protect the Service, Content (or Content fingerprints/metadata) may be processed by vetted third-party providers for:
- detection of unlawful/prohibited material,
- fraud prevention and transaction risk management,
- cybersecurity and abuse prevention.
Third-party providers are used solely for compliance, safety, and enforcement purposes.
5. Content Review Triggers
Content and/or accounts may be reviewed following:
- a user or third-party report,
- automated detection signals,
- payment risk events (e.g., chargebacks, fraud alerts),
- law enforcement or authority requests,
- internal audits, random sampling, or enhanced review of high-risk categories,
- repeated or serious violations by a Creator.
6. Enforcement Actions
If we reasonably suspect Content or behavior violates this Policy or the Terms, we may take one or more actions without prior notice, including:
6.1 Content Actions
- remove Content,
- disable access to Content or links,
- restrict distribution or visibility,
- block uploads or listings,
- preserve evidence where required for compliance or investigations.
6.2 Account Actions
- issue warnings,
- require additional verification,
- suspend accounts temporarily,
- terminate accounts for severe or repeated violations,
- restrict the creation of new accounts where permitted by law.
6.3 Financial and Transaction Actions (Risk Controls)
To protect the platform and payment ecosystem, we may:
- delay or withhold payouts linked to disputed, suspicious, or potentially unlawful activity,
- freeze balances pending review and resolution,
- restrict or disable monetization for specific accounts or content,
- cooperate with payment partners to investigate fraud, chargebacks, or compliance concerns.
These actions may be taken to comply with contractual obligations to payment partners and to mitigate risk.
7. Escalation, Authorities, and Cooperation
Clinkt.me may:
- report suspected illegal activity or prohibited Content to competent authorities when required or appropriate,
- comply with lawful requests from courts, regulators, or law enforcement,
- preserve account data and relevant evidence as required by applicable law.
8. Creator Obligations
Creators must:
- upload only Content they have rights to distribute,
- comply with this Policy, the Terms of Use, and all applicable laws,
- promptly respond to compliance requests (e.g., proof of rights, clarifications),
- avoid attempts to evade controls (e.g., re-uploading removed Content, obfuscation, misleading metadata).
Creators are strictly prohibited from using the Service to distribute illegal or exploitative material.
9. UK-Specific Age Assurance (Where Applicable)
Where UK-specific age assurance requirements apply to certain categories of Content or user access:
- Clinkt.me may implement age-gating and age assurance measures to restrict access to age-restricted Content,
- Creators may be required to classify Content accurately and cooperate with enforcement measures,
- Clinkt.me may restrict or remove Content that cannot be adequately age-gated or presents unacceptable compliance risk.
Clinkt.me may require additional information, declarations, or controls to meet these requirements.
10. Appeals and Reinstatement
We may, at our discretion, allow Creators to appeal certain enforcement actions by contacting: [email protected]
An appeal must include:
- the Content link/identifier,
- a clear explanation of why the decision should be reconsidered,
- any supporting documents (e.g., licenses, proof of rights).
We may maintain restrictions during the appeal process. Reinstatement is not guaranteed.
11. Transparency and Policy Updates
We may update this Policy to reflect:
- changes in law or regulatory guidance,
- payment partner requirements,
- evolving abuse patterns or security needs.
Material changes may be communicated via the Service or other reasonable means.
12. Liability and Indemnification
Creators and users acknowledge that:
- Clinkt.me's monitoring and enforcement actions are risk-based and may involve judgment calls,
- Clinkt.me is not liable for Creator Content or for losses resulting from Content removal, access restriction, or account actions taken in good faith to enforce this Policy or comply with law/payment partner obligations.
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clinkt.me as set out in the Terms of Use for claims arising from their Content, conduct, or violations of this Policy.
13. Reporting Content
To report Content or behavior, contact: [email protected]
Please include (where possible):
